I see your moonlit beach and raise you a terrifyingly bad sunset. Not only did I steal your mountainous landscape idea but I also stole the composition directly from Microsoft XP's Sunset.

So I learned that the Gradient tool looks cool, but isn't slightly useful and on the whole of it is really ugly.

Fun idea: make a water-colour style painting, with definite and deliberate impressionist themes. And it can't have any celestial bodies in it. We've used them up, between my stars, and your moon, and my sun. Seriously now. None.
